About DCCTC

Legislation creating The Dorchester County Career & Technology Center (DCCTC) was approved in 1972 and the doors opened in the Fall of 1974. The school is located on a 32-acre tract of land in the community of Dorchester. Our satellite campus, located on Trolley Road in Summerville, re-opened its doors in August 2016.

At DCCTC, students receive skills and knowledge to become successful. Students are provided with resources to help them with their future plans.

WHY DCCTC?

  • We integrate both academic & career skills
  • We align South Carolina’s education system & the demands of the global economy.
  • We personalize education to each student’s unique needs.
