Mr. Ante was born and raised in Ashland, Wisconsin, and began his fire service career as a volunteer in 1996. He worked as a career firefighter from 1999 to 2021, serving with the Saint Paul Fire Department (1999–2004), St. Johns Fire Rescue (2004–2014), and Dorchester County Fire Rescue (2014–2021), where he rose to the rank of Captain.

Now, he brings over 25 years of firefighting experience to DCCTC, sharing his expertise with the next generation. He enjoys helping students build the skills and knowledge needed for a career in fire service.
