Teacher – Law Enforcement – James McClellan

Mr. McClellan began his law enforcement career in 2001 as a Military Police Officer, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with the 16th Military Police Brigade Airborne. During his service, he deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq and served in numerous roles, including Investigations, Patrol Supervisor, Desk Sergeant, Investigations Team Chief, Squad Leader, Team Leader, and Internal Affairs Investigator.

 

Following his military service, Mr. McClellan continued his career in civilian law enforcement as a Summerville Police Officer, where he served as a Field Training Officer,

Field Training Officer Manager, Shift Supervisor, and K9 Handler. He later joined the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office as a K9 Supervisor and currently serves part-time as a K9 Officer in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
